Hi, I’m Ilya — a wedding video editor and the founder of Cullwed.
Over 10+ years in the industry, I realized what can dramatically speed up the wedding film editing process: proper footage culling and project organization. But because this stage is repetitive and time-consuming, it often becomes the biggest obstacle when starting a new edit. I’ve seen many wedding videographers and editors struggle to begin the creative process because they first have to go through hours of organizing footage and selecting usable clips. Do you provide a trial edit?
Yes! We offer trial edits because we’re interested in long-term relationships. You only pay if you’re completely satisfied with the result and want to continue working with us
What software do you support?
We are currently working in Adobe Premiere Pro, but we can also provide an XML file for further use in DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro
Will you delete important moments?
No. Our goal is not aggressive clip reduction. We carefully preserve key moments, reactions, ceremony coverage, speeches, dances, and footage that may be valuable during the editing process
How do I send footage to you?
The best way to share footage with us is through Google Drive or Dropbox
Do you provide anything other than the culling service?
Yes, our services also include additional documentary editing for multi-camera events: the ceremony, private vows, toasts, first dance, etc.
Is my footage secure?
Yes. Footage is handled confidentially and stored securely throughout the culling process. We never share, distribute, or use your footage without permission
